ESPRESSINI CAKE STANDS

This a collection of cake stands for Espressini Coffeeshop in Falmouth, the idea was it would be a playful take on the tradional nest of tables. I used Walnut for the tops, which was certainly the nicest piece of timber to go through the workshop in a long while! I tend to use alot of oak for projects, so it was a very deliberate choice to go for Walnut with Ash legs for a change. Also I wanted a strong contrast of colour between the tops and legs.

They’re quite fun to play around with, you can have them in all sorts of configurations, stacked up, under each other or completely seperate.
